Why 15 Days from Casablanca Is the Ideal Length
Morocco is bigger than it looks on a map. Shorter trips force long drives every day; 15 days from Casablanca gives you time to sleep two nights in the main places and still reach the desert. It also lets you start and finish at the same airport, which usually means cheaper international flights.
If you have less time, see our 7-day Morocco itinerary or our 10-day private driver itinerary. For a shorter desert loop from the airport, read our guide to desert tours from Casablanca.

- More desert: replace Merzouga with Erg Chigaga via Zagora, or add a night.
- More north: add Tangier and Asilah before Chefchaouen.
- Short on time: the northern part alone works well as a Casablanca to Chefchaouen tour of 3 or 4 days.

Budget Tips for 15 Days from Casablanca
A trip of 15 days from Casablanca has four main costs: transport, hotels, food and entrance tickets. Here is how to keep each one under control.
- Transport: a private driver is priced per vehicle, so sharing it with family or friends lowers the cost per person a lot. For 15 days from Casablanca, it also saves the time of trains, buses and taxis between cities.
- Hotels: riads in the medinas offer charm at every budget. Desert camps range from simple tents to luxury camps with private bathrooms.
- Food: local restaurants are inexpensive; tagine, couscous and grilled meat or fish are available everywhere.
- Tickets: monuments such as the Hassan II Mosque, the Bahia Palace and the Majorelle Garden have separate entrance fees. Keep a small daily budget for them.
Travelling in spring or autumn usually means higher hotel prices than in summer or winter, but better weather. If your dates are flexible, ask us which weeks are quieter for your 15 days from Casablanca.
Prefer a shorter trip with a published price? Our 9-day tour from Casablanca airport starts from €1,850 per vehicle.
Why Use a Private Driver for 15 Days from Casablanca
Trains in Morocco are good between Casablanca, Rabat, Fes and Marrakech, but they do not reach the Sahara, the gorges, Chefchaouen or the small kasbahs. Over 15 days from Casablanca, a private driver saves you many hours of buses, taxis and luggage carrying.
With one driver for the whole trip, you have a fixed price per vehicle, the same comfortable car every day and someone who knows the roads. You stop for photos and lunch where you want, and you can change the plan if you fall in love with a place. For 15 days from Casablanca, this flexibility is the biggest difference. See our vehicles to choose the right size for your group.
What to Pack for 15 Days from Casablanca
In 15 days from Casablanca you go from the Atlantic coast to the mountains and the Sahara, so pack light layers:
- Light clothes for the day and a warm jacket for the evenings, the mountains and the desert night.
- Clothes that cover shoulders and knees for mosques, medinas and villages.
- Comfortable walking shoes: medinas have many stairs and uneven streets.
- Sun cream, sunglasses and a hat.
- A small bag for the desert night, while your main luggage stays in the car.
- A universal adapter (Morocco uses type C and E plugs) and a power bank.
Laundry service is easy to find in riads in Fes and Marrakech, so you do not need clothes for all 15 days from Casablanca.
A Shorter Version of 15 Days from Casablanca
Do you love this route but have less time? You can keep the main highlights of 15 days from Casablanca in a shorter trip:
- 10 days: Casablanca, Fes, the Sahara, the Dades Valley and Marrakech. See our 10-day Morocco trip with a private driver.
- 7 days: the imperial cities and one night in the desert. See our Morocco 7 days itinerary.
With fewer days, you drive a little more each day and skip Chefchaouen or Essaouira. If you can, keep the full 15 days from Casablanca: the extra days make the trip much more relaxed.
On the other hand, if you have more than two weeks, you can add Tangier and Asilah in the north, or a few beach days in Agadir or Taghazout at the end. Your driver stays with you for the whole trip, so changes are easy to make.
Best Time for a 15-Day Morocco Trip
Spring and autumn are perfect for this route, because it covers mountains, desert and coast. In summer, the desert is very hot but the coast is pleasant; in winter, mountain passes can see snow and desert nights are cold. Check our guide to the best time to visit Morocco before choosing your dates.
